Sunday stroll at Bondi Beach

Owners and their dogs

The usual leap

Beautiful beaches round every cove

Most dangerous beach in the world - or are we just living in a Nanny State?

How to enjoy a sea view - and not pay any rent. The local hobo has lived here for 20 years now. The council is trying to evict him but having trouble.

The spiders come in packs...

This sea pool in Bondi hosts the famous mid winter swim. Not suprising its called The Iceberg.

Even the deceased in Bondi get to enjoy sea views.

Oh for a hammock!

A lazy Sunday at Palm Beach

We spent a relaxing day at Palm Beach, enjoying some wonderful Sydney weather.

Palm Beach's main call to fame is that, apart from being an idyllic spot, it is the filming location for one of Australia's biggest exports, "Home and Away." Unfortunately we did not get to witness any filming (some of the stars are pretty fit!). Kerry, being a big "Home and Away" fan, was in her element and kept looking out for landmarks in the series.

The beach was great with the fine, gold sand, the sea was the perfect temperature and there were some marvellous rock formations on the end of the bay. Now all we need to do is win the lottery so we can get a holiday house here - its just over an hour drive from Sydney.

Touching Sydney

Another fun photo from Kerri...

The Fencer

Glenn, Ally's cousin in Queensland, has recently set up a blog to show off the fences he makes through his franchise, Jim's Fences. Check them out at www.thefencer.blogspot.com Nice title for a blog, Glenn! And some nice fences too...

Sydney Bridge 75th Anniversary

Some pics from Kerri of her walk accross the bridge with Ally on 18th of March to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the Harbour Bridge. Where was I? Sleeping! Missed out on some great bridge photo angles. Snooze, you lose...

Leaping at Myburgh's Ravine

Russell took this photo. What a cracker it it!  It was a lot less dangerous than it looks but probably still a little foolhardy!
