Bronte with Dom for a swim

A beautiful day for a swim. Bronte is one of my favourite tidal pools.

Helping Shushann and then swimming at Coogee

I went to Coogee to help Shushann with her Google Ads. It was quite cerebrally challenging so afterwards I went for a swim and stroll at Coogee Beach.  Just what I needed to switch off and unwind.

Watching Sharon's niece perform at Avalon Beach

Sharon's niece did her first ever public singing performance at the bowling club in Avalon Beach.  Up until now, she has only sung at home. I was bowled over by how good she is, both at singing and playing keyboards. She has a really easy voice to listen to and has learned a beautiful selection of songs. I am absolutely certain this is the first of many gigs for her.

It was a fun day. Always so lovely to see Sharon and great to meet her sister and hubby too, along with her niece.

Before the gig, I also go to take some photos of Avalon Beach and tidal pool. It's a lovely spot.

It took me nearly two hours to get here by public transport (train and two buses) but well worth the journey. Sharon gave me a lift back to Gordon Station near where she lives so the journey back was much quicker.

Full moon at Coogee

An invigorating swim in Coogee Tidal pool followed by moon rise and fish and chips.

Coogee for a stroll and swim with Shushann and Lydia

Always lovely to visit Shushann.  The hot weather was cooling down but we still decided to go for a swim which was invigorating.  After a while, impressive storm clouds appeared on the horizon. Stunning they were.

Manly on a lovely sunny winter's day

After seeing Mary Ann and Aaron for lunch in Manly, I went for a stroll and took some photos with my i-phone.  It was a beautiful day.  I really do live in paradise.

So lovely to see Mary Ann and Aaron, visiting from Cape Town. We had a delicious lunch at The Boathouse at Shelly Beach.

I captured this in the tidal pool shallows.  So wondrous!
