Gavin's book launch

Gavin finally launched his beautiful penguin book.  It was a great day for which I was the official photographer.

Watching the huge waves roll in at Kalk Bay with Jo

Jo and I had a marvellous time photographing huge waves crashing onto restaurants at Kalk Bay.  The seals and sea gulls also gave us a great show.  I fell even more in love with my new 18 - 300 mm lens and the versatility it gives me.

This colourful art was selling at a local stall.

Seeing Joanna and Steve

It was so lovely to see Joanna and Steve again.  Joanna is one of my oldest and dearest friends.  Their lovely children, David and Luke, are growing up so fast. I didn't get to play cricket with them this time which is probably just as well because David bowled me well and truly out last time!
