Dinner at Truc and Tony

A delicious dinner. Truc always knows how to put on a feast!

Dinner party with the boys (a bit of a drunken affair)

Oven roasted vegetables and seered tuna. We sent a tipsy message to Jilly who knows all of us and I was visiting the next day.

Lunch at Srini's

Srini is learning to cook and he absolutely excelled himself! After lunch, we went for a stroll in the park and along the river.

Eckhart evening

A fun evening with a very special group of people.  My oven roasted vegetables with smoked almonds was a triumph!

Lunch party for my Hiking Gang

Pumpkin soup, roast chicken and roasted winter vegetables with feta and smoked almonds.  Followed by lemon pudding and chocolate mousse.  Then walked off with a stroll at Ball's Head.  A lovely day.

I did lamb shanks. After lunch, we went across to Brennan Park so the kids could play.

Xmas at Brendan and Eva

Xmas with Eva and Brendan is always so special.  It feels like I'm amongst family.  The food was out of this world and the company was wonderful.  As usual, mum's potato baked was in great demand. I also made chocolate mousse this year which went down very well.

Dinner around the table

Just a sample of the amazing food.

Eva hand painted these table settings.  Beautiful.

Xmas decorations

Such lovely, lovely people.

Making the most of the beautiful pool and warm weather.

Such a perfect house for parties!

The queen of the leaps. What amazing technique.

Do I know how to pick house-mates or what?

Matt, my new house-mate, is a gourmet chef and I got to enjoy a succulent meal of medium rare lamb and truffle mash.  So delicious.  The big question is, what can I make in return.  A little bit daunting!

Ally's birthday dinner

We had a wondeful evening with Bruce and Christy, Ash and Clair, Yvonne and Holga. Ally surpassed herself with her dessert - creamy home made ice cream with turkish delight, pistachios, marshmallow and red berries. Yum!!

Christmas 2008

We made the most of our new home this year by inviting all our orphan friends (i.e. those without family in Australia) over for Xmas lunch. Ally as usual outdid herself with a veritable feast (I'm still stuffed 5 hours later!) The glazed ham was the highlight. The barbecued lamb and prawns were also pretty good. Dessert was a wonderful joint effort with Kerry doing her famous lemon cheesecake, Ingrid her delicious Forest Chocolate Cake and Eva her orgasmic mango icecream. I can't wait to tuck into the left overs tomorrow...

Our first party with our new dining room table

We had our best friends over today for french toast (breakfast). Including all the kids, we had 11 and they all fitted around the table! Quite snug it was...

Dinner party

We had my colleagues from work over for a dinner party on Friday night. A great fun and very boozy evening. It's good working with such a great group of people.
