Xenia and I have been meeting at Balls Head each Friday as part of a personal development project we are both working on. So lovely to do it in nature. It really is a special place and only a few minutes from home. We are always paid a visit by the local bush turkeys. I love them so much.
I met up with Chris and Xenia at Balmoral. Always lovely to spend time with them.
It's always a delight to meet up with this beautiful group of people. I had my usual dish: Goat's Cheese Quiche.
I spent Xmas with Shushann, Allan, Xenia and Judie. Lovely succulent turkey and pavlova were the culinary highlights. We had a bit of a sleep and then did some karaoke with Xmas and other songs. A beautiful day with special friends.
Another great session at Ball's Head, followed by lunch at The Coal Loader.
A blissful morning. Xenia and I met up in Brennan Park, a lovely natural setting, to work on a mutual personal development project: Creating clarity on what is important to us and a vision for our ideal lives. We then did a meditation and went on for lunch at The Third Rail in Waverton where I savoured one of the most delicious salads I have ever eaten.
Frenchy's has become our new regular haunt. Food is great and the girls are in love with the French waiter who I must admit is quite a dish !
Xenia invited me to lunch at The Flying Bear in Milson's Park. It didn't matter that I'd already been there earlier in the day with the Photography Meetup. It's such a beautiful spot at the moment.
Shushann's beautiful doggie, Nushi, turned 11 so we celebrated with a get-together at Milson's Park. Lots of throwing and chasing. Nushi still has a lot of energy for an 11 year old!
Xenia came round to my house to setup the phone. Her previous phone was an iPhone 6 so it was a massive upgrade. We then went to a local Waverton cafe to celebrate and she treated me to lunch by swiping with her newly installed Apple Pay on her phone!
Xenia treated me to a delicious lunch for my birthday at a lovely restaurant in Balmoral.
Knowing you are an early riser I am sending birthday greetings as you get up and as I go to bed. I hope you have a special day and will be celebrating in some way with friends.
