We had the most wonderful time. The media had been playing up the fact that the falls had dried up but we found there was far more water than expected, especially on the Zimbabwe side. The hotel where we stayed was incredible with Zebras roaming outside, a great pool and a breakfast to die for. The undoubted highlight of the trip was Devil's Pool where we got to swim right on the upper edge of the falls and had the most amazing lunch imaginable. We also enjoyed a cruise on the Zambezi and a visit to Livingston. Such a brilliant holiday, thanks so much to mum's amazing generosity.
