Lunch with B

B had a fall recently so has been working from home to recover.  We met up for a lovely healthy lunch in Crow's Nest.

Manly Jazz Festival with B and John

On Friday, I went to Manly early in the afternoon for a stroll and some ocean therapy. B and John met up with me and we enjoyed some wonderful jazz.

B's birthday lunch and walk

A nice lunch at a cafe in the city. Then to Martin Place where we got the new metro to get to the Sydney Botanical Gardens for an amble and some photography.

Italian festival

A wonderful afternoon exploring the Italian festival with Beata and John. There was a very festive atmosphere. The highlight was the Italian food: Pasta, pizza, cannoli and gelato. All absolutely delicious!

City to Surf

An early get-up to watch the coming in of the City to Surf runners. The race is between the city and Bondi.  This is the run that Gavin often does in his granny's purple dress to raise money for charity but unfortunately he wasn't doing it this year.

Elizabeth House

I spent a lovely morning exploring Elizabeth House with my photography meetup. Built from 1835 to 1839, Elizabeth Bay House is a heritage-listed Colonial Regency style house and now a museum.  With harbour views, sweeping staircases and spectacular landscaped gardens, Elizabeth Bay House was Sydney’s ultimate trophy home. When it was built, it was by all accounts the finest house in the colony.
