The hike from Periche to Namche Bazaar was a long and tough 25 km hike but the weather was clear and the extraordinary scenery more than made up for the pain. The scenery in the morning was some of the most spectacular on the whole hike and we also enjoyed sublime sunset views of Everest on the ascent to Namche Bazaar.

Russell hitches a lift on a horse
Russell, due to his cough, was not feeling up for the brutal climb up to Namche Bazaar. Thankfully, we found a horse to make his life easier.
